Italian Teacher

Roberta was born in Catania in 1987. During her childhood she traveled a lot along Italy for her father’s work. At 16 she returned to Catania and after finishing high school, she decided to enroll at the University of Sciences for International Communication to develop her love for foreign languages and cultures.

Always in Catania she obtained her Master’s Degree in Languages for International Cooperation.

During her studies, she achieved the DITALS Certification to teach Italian language to foreign people, due to the increasing presence of immigrants in our Country. Almost immediately she did an Internship in the municipality of Catania and she has worked as a volunteer for different Organizations, also abroad (Moscow, Malta).

She joined the team at Federico II last October and feels very enthusiastic and satisfied with this experience, especially to be part of such a great team.

“ I am a lucky person. Almost every week I have the opportunity to know people from all over the world.

I believe that teaching a language means above all to empathize with the students, to understand their goals, trying to create the best personalized program according to their needs.

I have a sunny personality and usually I get in touch with most of my students. This allows me to cultivate good friendships and, why not, continue to pursue my passion: travel around the world enriching my cultural and personal baggage.”
