The Italian language

Italian is the fourth most studied language in the world. People from all over the world are untied by a shared desire to improve their language skills. What better way to further your Italian studies, than to immerse yourself in the language and culture. Federico II is located right in the heart of a beautiful Sicilian city, and offers premium language schooling mixed with unique cultural activities.

We understand the difficulties that come with learning a new language, we firmly believe that by loving our work and culture, we are able to transmit this positive energy into our teaching practices. We strive to make the study of our language professional, clear and exciting for all our students. While we like to have fun in the classroom, the education of our students is extremely important to us. Our staff are constantly reviewing and updating their teaching practices to ensure that each student performs to the best of their ability.

Marion

Deputy Manager/Italian Teacher

Born in Catania, from an early age Marion enjoyed both Greek and Latin studies throughout high school. After finishing her Arts Degree at the Academy of Fine Arts, Marion wanted to further her education. She enrolled at the University of Catania and completed another degree in Languages for International Communication. Russian, English and French are her adopted languages. Marion loves sport, Valentino Rossi and all animals, but her great passion in life will always be wine, Italian wine of course.

Didatic Manager/Italian Teacher

Born in Catania, Fede’s love for languages and travel began very early in life. Fede enrolled at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Catania and graduated with a degree in European Languages and Cultures. After completing a thesis in Italian for Foreign Language Teaching, Fede decided to devote her life to teaching and promoting Italian language and culture. Giorgio

Italian Teacher

Giorgio was born and lives in Catania and joined the team at Federico II in July 2016. He completed his studies at the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice, where he obtained his master’s in Didactics of Foreign Languages.
